Our mission is to empower New Zealand suppliers in the FMCG grocery industry.
Our Story
Supplier Collaboration Project (SCP) was founded by industry professionals who recognised a gap in the FMCG market: too many promising small suppliers were being overlooked by traditional broker agencies due to high overheads and lack of brand recognition. With a vision to do things differently, SCP was created to provide affordable, collaborative services that empower local brands to thrive.
The turning point came in December 2023 when SCP secured its first major client. This milestone accelerated our growth and allowed us to expand our services beyond consulting, adding account management, compliance, merchandising, and insights to give suppliers the support they need at every stage of their retail journey.
Since then, SCP has gone from strength to strength. In just 18 months, we’ve grown from representing four local ranged brand partners to launching some of New Zealand’s most exciting new brands into retail.
These include Moodi, an innovative functional beverage, and Morning Made, high ceremonial grade Matcha for at home. We’re also proud to partner with emerging talent from Foodstuffs’ Emerge programme, such as Little Ardroy (winner) and Love Muscle (top five finalist). Alongside these emerging talents, SCP supports innovators of functional foods like Radix Nutrition, as well as established household names including Living Goodness and Egmont Honey. helping them expand their presence and build long-term success.
While our services have evolved, our purpose remains the same: to collaborate with Kiwi suppliers, simplify their path to retail, and grow alongside their success. Our story is one of resilience, growth, and partnership - and it’s only just beginning.
